Who's the Designer??
I ran across this website for Scandanavian designer marks...
There are other websites that are good too, but I liked this one cuz there are actual pics of the marks which I liked so I get a feel for the desigs - that's nice for when I'm out looking for stuff...

Bert Nienhuis Denmark
Here is a pic of my BN piece - I have never worn it but I really like...
Here is another example of his work
From Worthpoint 2008
This vintage (I believe pre-1980) necklace is marked Denmark and BN for Bert Nienhuis. The unclasped chain is 25" long and 4mm wide. The pendant is 2 1/8" in diameter and has gold, blue, black, and white enamel. It is 3 3/16" high if you include the silver peg-like piece. It's in excellent condition.
I googled Bert Nienhuis - and there were a couple of Bert's - one who passed away in 1960 that did earthenware - and another that still works and does painting workshops in Curacao (sp?). I think its the latter but not sure - if you know which, pls let me know....Tia

Grete Prytz Design for J. Tostrup Brooch
I was tracking this on ebay - it just closed at $328...just a bit over what I wanted to pay (yeah, and over my sad little non-existent budget).
This piece as interesting cuz there is no enameling so the piece is simply sterling. Also, I dont the usual texturing that is found on the bracelet. This looks smooth but cant confirm cuz I was not the highest bidder...sigh

Hugo Gruen Denmark
Hugo Gruen Copenhagen 1918-1937 Hugo Gruen & Company 1937-1985 - Markings for both are similar tho font type appears to different: H.Gr
The pictured set is currently on ebay BIN for a cool $999. Its a relist by the seller - I know cuz I have been watching it for a while now. I just wanted to see if it would really sell at that price - seems high for this particular designer.
I got my first Hugo bracelet at the flea market for $15 and that was killing me - cuz its the flea market.
Anyhow, later I picked up the necklace as a sleeper from on online seller...yay.
My set has white moonstones. Then I came across the same design in the brooch with green chalcedony. Very nice - well made - check out the clasp - its sturdy and easy to get on and off. That is true of most Scandanavian pieces - their clasps are distinct and well crafted mechanisms that you can be pretty sure wont fall off your neck or wrist.
